The Marudyan Hostel in Raikia, Orissa is nearing completion, and should be ready for the start of the new school year in April.
The hostel will provide residential accommodation for children from the hill tribes of the Eastern Ghatt. These children live in remote communities where even basic education is hard to come by; by staying in the hostel during term time, they will be able to attend established schools in Raikia.
